These fold-out, pop-out (DisneyQuest logo) invitations were distributed to cast members in anticipation of the “Private Opening Celebration of the First-Ever DisneyQuest: The Ultimate Interactive Adventure” to take place on Thursday, June 18, 1998 (the day before its public opening), at 10:30 a.m.
A second location of the “virtual theme park” would open in Chicago a year later. Others were planned around the United States and Canada, but never came to fruition. While the Chicago iteration closed in 2001, the Downtown-Disney-West-Side mainstay lasted nearly twenty years, finally shutting its doors on July 2, 2017.
