This Summer 1990 “main-gate” guide book and map, sponsored by Kodak, was distributed to guests at the start of Disney-MGM Studios’ second year of operation. The guide provides a comprehensive overview of the attraction, dining, and shopping offerings available around the park.

This gray-covered edition features Mickey Mouse, Roger Rabbit, and Kermit the Frog in front of the Studio Gate Arch. Updates from the first-year guides include the Calling Dick Tracy shop and interactive experience and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character appearances, as well as the following attraction additions: Star Tours (which had opened in December of the previous year), the Let’s Make a Deal game show experience, and “Here Come the Muppets” stage show (both of which opened in the lead-up to the park’s second summer season).
