This 1972 parking ticket, purchased and distributed July 27, 11:53 a.m., granted entry into the main Magic Kingdom parking lot, in what was the resort’s first summer of operations.

The reverse side displays the layout of the lot, divided into twelve different sections, as well as the handwritten denotation of the bearer’s specific location information: Sleepy 73. This system would be retained until September 2011, when the park converted to a “Heroes/Villians” format, featuring twelve new representative Disney characters.
