This black-and-white promotional poster, featuring the Walt Disney World Monorail with the newly-constructed Spaceship Earth in the background, was distributed to resort guests in the months leading up to the October 1, 1982, opening of EPCOT Center.

Before the resort’s second park opened its gates to the public, the monorail expansion, which connected the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Center, began running the new circuit to allow guests the opportunity of a “sneak peek” at the nearly-finished park.
