The 1957 editions of the Disneyland “souvenir guide book” (with the 1957 date-stamp and without) provide a color-photo tour around the five lands of the Magic Kingdom.
The changes to these editions from the previous year’s guide are subtle and include only a few additional pictures, as well as the substitution of actual photographs for concept artwork. This year’s twenty-six-page books are also printed on a glossy-style paper. The cover photos (Sleeping Beauty Castle) remain the same, as do the back-cover index sections, though they of course have been updated to reflect changes to the park. The two 1957 editions are essentially identical to one another, save the front-cover stamp and copyright information on the inside cover.
